I recently stayed at a clean and stylish hostel with great beds that don't squeak. The water pressure was excellent and there was a nice kitchen available for use. The dorms were a comfortable temperature at night. I would definitely stay at Tropico 20º again.

I recently stayed at Hostel Tropico 20º for a few nights and had a great experience. The price was unbeatable and the location was perfect. The hostel had excellent security measures in place and the staff were respectful and helpful. The hostel was also surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. One standout feature was the incredible bathrooms - they were spacious, clean, and felt brand new. The hostel also had plenty of convenient plugs throughout. a fantastic stay.
Would recommend this hostel.

We stumbled upon this budget hostel after missing our flight and needing a last-minute place to stay. The hostel was clean, just like in the pictures, and the beds were comfortable enough for a hostel. The staff at the counter were friendly and helpful, assisting us in finding a scooter rental. The showers and toilets were clean and spacious. If you're looking for an affordable and adventurous stay in Cozumel, I would definitely recommend staying at Tropico 20º.

The location of this hostel was excellent, right next to the ferry terminal and in the center of town. There were plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, making it convenient for exploring and dining out. The showers and toilets were clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to help me find a snorkeling tour to El Cielo.
That the private room I stayed in was quite small, which could be challenging for those with larger luggage. However, it was manageable for a short stay of one or two nights.

I gotta say, for the price we paid, we got a really good deal at this hostel. The room was clean and the showers were amazing. Plus, the location was spot-on, just a short walk from the boat terminal. And the staff? Super friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast could've been better, though. Maybe they could consider adding some more options to the menu.

Close to the ferry, clean rooms and showers with warm water and toilet. Scooters available for rent at reasonable prices. Good value for money.

Friendly staff, comfortable beds, great kitchen, excellent bathrooms. Ideal location near ferry and town center with restaurants and bakery nearby. Late air conditioning but cold enough to sleep. Dorm partially open, but bathrooms are spacious with hot shower. Concrete pods for beds prevent disturbances. Nice outdoor space.

The location of this place was great! It was really convenient to be close to the ferry terminal and have a sea-facing view. Plus, it made it easy to explore the town center and beach. Another bonus was the concept of the dormitory area. I had a lower bunk with a double bed and plenty of space to store my backpack. the privacy screen and reading light were nice touches.
The cleanliness in this place was disappointing. the sink in the toilets and kitchen were always dirty, and the kitchen had an unpleasant smell.

I recently stayed at Tropico 20º in Cozumel for a week. The room had a lockable sliding door and clean, lockable toilets and showers. The kitchen outside had a fridge for everyone and although some pans and flatware were a bit used, they still worked. The wifi was good and the AC was on during the night. The large beds were super private with blinds and there were bins next to every bed. The location was amazing and the staff were lovely.
Totally recommend this hotel.

I gotta say, I definitely got my money's worth at Tropico 20º! The room was cozy and I loved having my own roller blind for privacy. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the ferry and surrounded by great restaurants. Plus, the staff were super helpful and friendly throughout my stay.
The breakfast menu could use a little improvement, maybe add some more options to make it more fulfilling.

We stumbled upon this hostel and were pleasantly surprised by its affordable rates and clean facilities. the location was ideal, close to the main dock and dive shops. the showers had hot water, and the bathrooms were well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. the hostel had a shared kitchen, although it lacked cooking equipment, we were still able to prepare meals with the available frying pan. It also offered a sea view and a reading light for each bunk.
The layout of the honeycomb beds on the main corridor seemed cramped and lacked privacy.
